EavesdropperCity lights blindingly filled the night sky of Reznor, covering the darkness with streaks of neon colors. Greens, blues and reds seemed engraved into the industrial buildings, as well as engraved into the various nocturnal party going silhouettes in the form of glow sticks and glowing bands. I’ve made mistakes but now I’m dying.
You died because of the fool in me.
The hatred I always see.
Too wrapped up in my own shit.
With these words I spit.
An attempted apology.
Hate seeing your eulogy.
I shouldn’t ask for forgiveness.
I’m the one that did this.
Karma knocked me down when it took you out.
My proud voice is gone now, can’t even shout.
It shouldn’t have been you.
I should’ve fallen through.
But you slipped first.
I dunno what’s worse.
Without me, only violence is what you’d see.
Without you, I’m still me.
